Job Summary:

The Senior Cash Applications Specialist will be responsible for all of the Company’ s cash inflow.  This position will process high volumes of transactions and remittances and accurately apply to correct customer accounts. This position will assist in other bank related processing tasks.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for the daily download of all bank and lockbox activity
  • Responsible for the accurate application of cash receipts to open AR balance
  • Work closely with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure timely remittances are received for all cash payments
  • Responsible for daily updates to the Accounts Receivable team for any queries on unapplied cash from clients
  • Support Accounting team with bank account reconciliation monthly.
  • Resolve and respond to customer inquires
  • Special projects/tasks as requested by management
  • Suggest, design, and implement solutions to improve efficiency
  • Consistently integrates Allbridge’s core values into their everyday habits by treating all customers, internal and external, professionally, honestly and respectfully
  • Accepts ownership and accountability of position responsibilities and strives to deliver results for customers that establish high standards, credibility and quality performance
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Minimum 4 years of related experience
  • NetSuite experience a plus
  • Celigo Cash Applications Manager
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Skills sufficient to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment undergoing organizational changes
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team is required
  • Self-starter
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
  • Sitting, standing, talking, walking, typing, and making decisions, concentrating on tasks, adjusting to changes, organizing, calculating.
